{Foto Friday} Snow Day

Prepare yourself for a rather lacking-color photo post.

We got a good layer of snow Tuesday night to Wednesday morning. Not as much as was predicted but enough to do this to our street.

It rained and sleeted before the snow fell so everything was covered in ice first and then thick, heavy, wet snow.

The snow was so heavy it made the lilac bush sprawl out.

While I was taking pictures, chunks were dropping and melting off everything. I don’t think the snow will last very long but I’m not too sad, it is March.

It was easy to see which way the snow was blowing.

It’s too bad the pristine white won’t stay. It gets mucked up so quickly. Why can’t it go from clean white to spring green? Let’s go spring!

Happy weekend.

Take care.
