Spring Fling with Could Be Interesting

Emily from Could Be Interesting is here today to share more springy inspiration!

Emily’s blog is a place of beautiful things: styling, must-haves items and sweet DIYs. And her Etsy shop is filled with darling treasures to feast your eyes on (or buy!). I’m so excited to have her here today and I love her springy idea. I know you will too.

When Amy over at This Heart Of Mine asked me to participate in her Spring Fling Collaboration, I jumped at the chance. Amy is so creative and fun. It has been such a blast reading her blog and seeing all the great things she comes up with.

So for my portion of this Spring Fling Collaboration I put together an outfit and inspiration board. For me Spring marks the time when picnics begin, the weather is gorgeous, the fresh air is soothing, and the color of flowers are brighter than ever. I want to pack up some goodies and sit in the park and enjoy everything wonderful about Spring. So…

For the outfit~

I know, it’s pretty bright, but I figure bright is in and this flirty outfit is definitely my Spring style.

Madewll’s Bright Colorwash Cardigan, J.Crew Painter Stripe Bateau Tee, J.Crew Crinkle Chiffon Skirt, Madewell Suede Sidewalk Skimmer, and Essie Watermelon

I adore the idea of adding the pattern to the beautiful chiffon skirt. It is fun, bright, and flirty. Which pretty much describes my relationship with Spring.

Next for the contents of the picnic basket~

So here we go, spread out {this blanket} and fill {this Grape Lug} with {these pretty plates}, a couple of {these lovely water glasses} and just for fun {this} beautiful bouquet of flowers.

Sounds fun right? I am seriously thinking about making this happen.

For the food I would make~

a variation of this delicious sandwich by Oh Joy!

  • Buttered Raisin Bread
  • White Cheddar
  • Casalingo Salami
  • Sliced Apples
  • Winter Pesto
  • Arugula
  • Olive Oil
  • Kosher Salt
~ Slap all of this together, grill a little, wrap in some pretty brown paper, tie it up with a bow.
Lastly, I would throw in {these}
for fun of course.
Because not only do they come in their own pretty package and individual cups it also tastes great!
And that is that. Happy Spring! I’ll see you in the sun!
Thanks to Amy for the opportunity. I hope this helps to inspire all of you to go out and do something fun during this Spring.
Xoxo,
