DIY with Design Mom: Concrete Candleholders

Concrete Candle Holders with Design Mom | this heart of mine

This weekend is daylight savings. Time to fall back!! My plan is to go to bed as early as I can on Saturday night so I can revel in that extra hour of being unconscious. My guess is the children won’t observe this change and my plans for sleep will be thwarted. Again. Oh well. :)

As the days continue to get shorter (only 51 days left until the days start to get longer!), candlelight gets more and more appealing to me. Using some concrete and containers from the recycling bin, plus a little spray paint, I made my own candle holders over on Design Mom. The metallic ones are my favorite.

I love the rustic-ness of them. The full tutorial can be viewed on Design Mom.

I’ll be back later with DIY links to send you off into the weekend!
