8 Fall DIYs for Your Home

Yesterday, we experienced a first at our house. Sweet J had his first visit to urgent care after tripping off a curb with his hands in his pockets and cutting his chin open. Thank goodness it happened when I was a only a few miles away, returning home after teaching at a conference in southern Minnesota all day. I really hate that he got hurt but so thankful I was able to be there. He handled it amazingly. Hardly cried and continued to eat Pirate’s Booty between gauze swipes and irrigation to disinfect the opening. And today, he is back to his rough and tumble self, with a band aid to protect his glued-together chin. Life goes on. :)

It was another whirlwind week and I’m foreseeing the weekend will be the same. What do you have planned? If you are feeling creative or inspired to add to your home, here are some ideas for you. Browns, warm metallics and natural elements spoke to me this week.
