Etched Spoons with Design Mom | this heart of mine

I have a new tool and I really like it. Today on Design Mom is the first of three cool handmade gift projects using my new tool, the Dremel, an etching tool/wood burner. I began with spoons and I signed them all with little hearts!

These beauties don’t need wrapping paper, just a big ole bow. The full details are over on Design Mom. Just a warning, you might get addicted. It’s a good thing in this instance. :)

  1. Hi Amy,

I love the etched snowflake ornaments you posted today at Design Mom!

I don’t like linking to my own page in comments because it feels too self-promoting (is it?), but I wanted to show you the little “Scandinavian tree” the kids and I do every year—I think your wooden snowflakes would be perfect on it.

Thanks for the great idea, and I hope you and your family have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

P.S. I did try e-mailing you, but it bounced back…
