New Hairdo

Love Bug finally allowed me to try a pony tail in her hair.

She even wore it for an hour and she seemed to like it. But then she asked me to remove it.

She looks so different when it’s all pulled back! Who knew her hair was so long! (I did try to get a picture from the front, but she made a scary face.)

Also, on a particularly cold day last week, I did a little pampering of my baby Bug. A pedicure!

She enjoyed the warm water and bubbles and the pink nail polish. The face below was her idea.

So was the following one. About the menacing scratch on her neck: she sustained it while playing with a couple of “drum stick” dowels. Quite traumatic but she recovered.

When she is older, I’ll teach her how to give pedicures since MJ doesn’t seem interested. : )

And to finish off, a little bit of news.

I’m still trying to make the artist thing work and in doing so, I am starting a blog on my art site. I hope to blog about processes, steps, creating, finished pieces and everything else that goes along with being an artist.

This blog will stay here. My computer wizard friend did some behind-the-scenes stuff and adjusted the address, etc. etc. etc. and a bunch of other confusing things to make this blog only accessible from the direct address which is:
 http://www.amy-christie.com/thisheArtofmine .
Save that link to your favorites so you don’t have trouble getting back. If you do, just contact me and I’ll send it to you.

I will still post on recipes, projects and life happenings in our home here though all my art stuff will be over on the new blog, Art by Amy Christie, found at:
http://www.amy-christie.com/
So complicated, I know! I don’t have much done on the other blog so no need to rush over. : )

That’s it for now. Hope to have more to share in the near future.

Take care. And stay warm. I hear we are in for a heat wave over the weekend. Wonder what the 40s are going to feel like after -25 windchill? Anyone for wearing flipflops??

  1. You do realize how much her pony tail looks like your “peeny” tail, right???? You even took the same shot we took of you!! On purpose, I suppose.
