Happy Friday friends! Hopefully you have an extended weekend ahead of you like we do. It’s been a long week here. Sweet J has been fighting a cold and cough which made for a string little-sleep nights and long tired days. I am ready for the weekend! And for Sweet J to feel better. Poor babe.
We are supposed to have quite the weather weekend too. A high of 40F tomorrow, some snow over the weekend and a high of -8F on Monday. Weather whiplash?
Besides resting up, I have a full to-do list for the weekend. I am headed to the Alt Summit next week!! So excited! So nervous!! So excited! There is the planning, prepping, packing, rethinking, repacking and more planning. Again, so excited!

I read your link on setting goals and resolutions. It got me inspired to start thinking of what lies ahead. The New Year begins. 2013! Where has time gone? I have loved, and lost. Experienced joy, happiness, and pain. Life is beautiful, and cruel. Rewarding, and unfair. And so my resolution is simple. Just live. Love. And take things one day at a time. Appreciate the people I have in my life. Find courage to do things I’ve always been afraid to do. Take steps, in steps I’ve never taken. And don’t be afraid of what life throws at me!

You’rs going to Alt? I’m so jealous. I’m typing this with one hand because my six-week-old little boy is in my other arm… so I couldn’t even consider going to Alt this year. Someday! Meanwhile, I’ll just live vicariously through you and everyone else who’s there. Can’t wait to hear all about it!
