Turkey Placemats

Still building an army.

Again, only turkeys.

Bigger turkeys but completely incapable of defending themselves.

I saw this idea in Better Homes and Gardens and again thought it would be a good family project. This time Love Bug really got into it and really enjoyed herself. MJ tried to out doodle me but come on. : )

All it takes is:

Brown cardstock for the bodies and heads (I used the 12×12 inch size for the bodies)
Red, yellow and white cardstock for the eyes, beaks and waddles. (Feet can be added, too)
A variety of plain and decorated paper for the feather.
Crayons, markets, glitter glue, stickers and any other kind of decor element

Love Bug really got into the sparkly stickers. She thought each turkey needed a sparkle (or two or three) for an eye. Very flashy.

My favorite were her feather doodles. She is really into making faces right now so each turkey has a smiley face feather (and some have two).

HAVE A HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!

Travel safe and take care.
