Mommy Love

Sometimes photos of my children take my breath away. I am overcome with the sheer depth of the love I have for them and I am reminded just how fleeting our time is together.

It’s a bit of a scary combination, the love and the fleetingness. There are times when it’s too much and I cry. Of course, there are other times when I want to run from the house screaming. :) But mostly, I am just so thankful that I got to spend a few moments with my son and his endless chocolaty brown eyes, chubby cheeks and tummy and his unusual hairdo. It filled me in a way that no material object will ever be able to do. I am so sad that he won’t stay this squeezable sweetie forever but I’m not going to let that keep me from enjoying these little moments and the moments that are to come.

Being a mom is the best job ever.

Take care.
