Seeing the New Year

Hello! Is it too late to say happy new year? Haha!

I know. It’s been a long time. Sorry. After I finished my last project before Christmas, I cleaned up my desk, put my materials away and focused my energy elsewhere. Elsewhere like cleaning and organizing and completing unfinished house things. Reading and game playing and just doing whatever whenever. It felt great! I left the internet behind and, honestly, didn’t really miss it. The holiday break is one of my most favorite times of the year because our little family is all together for a good length of days. It was heaven.

When it was time, I got back at it just not here. I’ll elaborate more tomorrow but we are in the midst of a sharp learning curve. The change is requiring a bit more headspace. Also, I built a portfolio and online services site myself and my little team. hello amy christie is the spot to find help with things like social media, photography, photo editing and calligraphy. It’s still a work in progress but the contact info is there!

I’ve also been working on The Goods (of life). I have a whole post dedicated to what’s new and how you can get The Goods for yourself in a few days. Coding, graphics, writing copy, planning, merging accounts, linking plugins. It’s been so fun using my brain in lots of different ways.

Now for the year. My friend, MJ, inspired me to take on The Finders 100 day challenge. My focus is to stop avoiding things that scared me – dreams, plans, projects – and do them. It’s working! My plan for this year is to do lots of the same with a bunch of new things. The making, creating, dreaming and doing will stay the same. The new part will be the form. I will keep updating this heart of mine. I can’t just let it go. :) My contributing work will continue as well. The products on The Goods will be all new territory for me. And I really, really want to make things with real people this year. How it will all turn out is anyone’s guess. I’ve got my eyes on the horizon.

So happy new year! I know it’s 23 days late but I really mean it. Let’s make this year fabulous.
