Week 23: Reflection

I’m shifting things around today. Last week, week 22, I didn’t post anything. This week, I’m posting but I didn’t really like/get/understand the theme ‘Enchantment’. So I’m swapping last week’s missed theme to this week and tossing this week’s theme out the window. This week’s new theme, ‘Reflection’.

Yesterday, to celebrate Bug’s birthday, our family visited the Minnesota Zoo. It was a lovely trip. We got there right away in the morning, and despite the nine buses of school children emptying out as we walked in, the zoo wasn’t overcrowded. The weather was just right for our trip and we brought enough food and water to keep the little ones happy/entertained. The animals were intriguing and exciting, especially through the eyes of Bug. Not to be out done, Sweet J started pointing his finger every time we got to a new exhibit. He knew he was supposed to be seeing something. And we got out right as our little zoo-enthusiasts were reaching the end of their energy.

It was a wonderful way to celebrate the day.

I was racking my brain, trying to figure out an interesting way to capture a reflection and then, when we were walking out of one of the zoo buildings, I looked up and there we were.

Take care.
